Written by Dale Wasserman

I spent much time in Haiti when it was home base for Katherine Dunham and her company for whom I was manager, stage-director and general pooh-bah. I wrote this play out of my love for that fascinating and utterly cursed land.

"‘An Enchanted Land’" is a funny, passionate and disturbing journey into a country torn apart by centuries of turmoil; a land that is said to be 60% Catholic, 40% Protestant, and 100% Voodoo."

"A steamy, tragic-comic tale of love and betrayal by Dale Wasserman, the award-winning playwright of Man of La Mancha and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. The stunning crowd scenes, music and drumming will linger in your mind long afterwards."
-- Ms. (London)
